Service Design in a New Digital Reality
Innovation is a hugely practical and physical activity which sees us leaving the building for street, home and workplace research; bringing groups of people together to develop ideas and insights; building prototypes in the physical and virtual worlds; and implementing new services and physical and digital products in reality. How can that happen in a word of remote work and social distancing?
In this session, we look at how key techniques of research, ideation, prototyping and implementation are being adapted to the world of online collaboration. How are teams delivering service design (and similar approaches) online? What is working, what is better, and what needs to change?

Who is Adam Lawrence?
Adam Lawrence is a top-selling author on innovation, having co-written This is Service Design Doing and This is Service Design Methods. He is co-initiator of the world’s biggest design innovation event, Global Service Jam, and adjunct professor of service design thinking at the IE Business School in Madrid. At WorkPlayExperience, he helps large International companies change the way they approach solving problems and delivering value. He is also a professional actor, theatre director and stand-up comedian.
