Keynote: BA Digital Skills Evolution

IIBA has been conducting a global examination of the skills and competencies needed to remain relevant in the age of digital and agile.  Still based on a core of the BABOK and on the key of “analysis” the presentation will look at both new hard skills and new soft skills. It will be a comprehensive examination of career paths, and the needs for our BA community to evolve to expand the role of the BA and provide more leadership for the business outcomes.  The presentation will show how this new role will increase the value of the profession.  It will examine topics such as the BA role with data analytics, digital technology, customer experience, and change management.

The topic will be aimed at mid-career to senior practitioners and assumes that the audience will be experienced in business analysis, and ready to re-examine the way the profession is headed to remain relevant, and vital to business success in both traditional and in new digital initiatives.  For general background consider reading the Global Thought Leadership papers that are available to IIBA members on the IIBA website.
