Ceska Sporitelna is already two years on its journey towards an agile way of working. We are transforming a hundred years old bank to be ready for the digital era and unpredictable future. It consists of an organizational transformation inspired by the Spotify model, cultural changes, strong focus on customer centricity, move from project to product delivery, building DevOps capabilities and much more.

During this presentation, we will look on agile transformation from a business analyst perspective. What changed for this profession and what not? How are business analysts organized and developed? What challenges we met on our path to adapting analysis craft to an agile organization and delivery approach.

Who is David Klimek?

David is a Senior Business Consultant and Business Analysis Manager with 20 years experience in Banking, IT & Consulting industry. He graduated from Computer Science at Charles University in Prague.

David spent most of his professional career in various consulting or managerial roles building analysis teams helping clients by analyzing complex systems, discovering stakeholder needs and finding effective solutions to business problems. As an Analysis Area Lead in largest Czech bank Česká Spořitelna a.s. (a member of Erste Group) is David currently responsible for adapting analysis craft to Agile way of work and professional development of more than 150 analysts and consultants within the organization.
